Healthy tips while fasting – Ramadan Kareem
Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, self-improvement, and fasting, and worship. Whilst the practice of fasting during Ramadan is a joyous time of community and personal development, it is as much of a mental test as it is a physical one. Although we may differ in how we prepare our minds and bodies, some tips can help to adjust to the daily fast. Stay Hydrated Drink plenty of fluids, choose fluid-rich foods to make sure you are well hydrated for the day ahead. Go for starchy foods for energy, choosing high fiber or wholegrain varieties where possible as these can help keep you feeling fuller and can aid digestion, helping to prevent constipation.
